Meet the athletes
As an athlete sponsor, I have the privilege of supporting these athletes as they pursue their competitions in their respective sports. These individuals are not only gifted athletes, but they are also hardworking, dedicated, and driven individuals who are committed to pushing their physical and mental boundaries in order to achieve success.
My role as a sponsor is to provide these athletes with therapy and rehabilitation and support to help achieve their goals

I started playing rugby at the age of 15 and immediately fell in love with it. The physical demands of the sport, meant there was always an opportunity to improve - to build on my strength, power and fitness, and to realise just what my body was capable of doing. I joined Wasps Women in 2013 where I continued to play premiership rugby for 9 years (including a brief spell at Bristol Bears who were incredible at supporting me to be closer to my family during the Covid-19 pandemic). I also represented the British Army and UK Armed Forces. In 2015, I was selected into the Welsh Rugby Union Squad and earned my first cap against England in the opening match of 2015 6 Nations. I went on to earn 20 caps for Wales, playing in a number of 6 Nations Campaigns, the 2017 World Cup and the 2018 Commonwealth Games. I absolutely loved playing rugby, but the increasing demand of time and travel was hard to maintain alongside a full time career - so I made the decision to retire in 2022, and focus on my next chapter.I have now turned my attention to triathlon, specifically, the Ironman Events. Carrying on my desire to see what my body is capable of achieving, I am now training to compete in the Ironman Vitoria-Gasteiz on 16 July 2023. It’s been eye opening to make the switch from a sport I have trained for and competed in for nearly 10 Yeats, to one I have absolutely no experience of at all. But I am enjoying the process of learning new skills and adapting my body to the new physical challenges. And as the event states; "Anything Is Possible"

I am an event rider based on the Bristol/Gloucestershire border, where I train and compete horses.
I started riding horses from a very young age (around 4!) It helps that my mother is herself a very good horse trainer. I followed down a similar path but my love for competition took me onto the route of initially show jumping and then Eventing.
I started competing in small, local competitions before advancing up to affiliated show jumping, jumping up to heights of 1m30.
In 2019, I decided to move into Eventing, which combined my love of 3 different areas of competition riding; Dressage, Show Jumping and Cross Country. I have worked my way up to competing internationally at 1 Star level, with my aim for this year to be competing at 2 star level with my own horse Perry (pictured). And other similar goals for the horses I ride for my owners.
I battled for many years between whether I should be doing it as a hobby or career. Diverting off to university to complete a masters degree in forensic science, followed by working in the film industry as a horse groom and stunt double.
I now ride on average 7 horses per day of varying levels and ability. Whilst also coaching local riders. This is where Lucie has helped me immensely. I never saw myself as an “athlete” and often put my body under extreme pressure without doing anything to repair it afterwards! Not only has Lucie been treating me fortnightly (sometimes weekly if things have been tough!) but the knowledge I have gained from her experience is invaluable! I know more about my body now than I have ever done. And it is helping me to prepare more efficiently, ride more effectively and in return gain better results. Thanks Lucie, you’re a star!
